Annual Market Review for 2019 by The Samuel Team at John R. Wood Properties

Here\'s the Annual Market Review For 2019 for SW Florida: After slower than expected sales in early 2019, sales over the second half of the year made up for lost ground culminating in a 4.6% gain over 2018 with 13,213 sales, the highest number since 2014. The greatest increase in sales was in price ranges below $1M, while listings between $1M and $5M declined somewhat. Sales at the high-end of the market rebounded in December, making that market segment one to watch in coming months. As of January 1st 2020, listing inventory was down 18% compared to the same date last year, while months of supply, at 6 months, was down 21%. Over the course of 2019, the Naples, Bonita, Estero real estate market continued to be one of balance and stability; however, with increasing buyer demand and decreasing supply, it’s also a market that appears to be undergoing a shift. We look forward to bringing you updated market data as it emerges. John R. Wood Properties finished 2019 as the leading broke
